Data and AI Governance Forum “Let’s Govern Our Data”

Co-organised by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications and DAMA Mongolia Chapter, this was Mongolia’s first cross-sector forum to discuss data and AI governance as a whole.

Guest speaker: Jason Tsang, Data/AI Governance Lead at Morgan Stanley - “Global Trends in Data and AI Governance: From Principles to Practice”.

Key takeaway: the challenge is organisational, not technological. Under the AI panel’s 10/20/70 principle, 70% of success depends on people, processes and organisation. Four of the five panels named passing the Data Law as the most important step for the next 12 months.
